Why Sponsor?

Sadly, a number of animals taken in by ASH will never be rehomed to a loving family. This may be due to the fact that the animal was badly abused and is finding it hard to trust humans again, the animal may be to old, etc. ASH welcomes these animals into the sanctuary and gives them a home for a long as they need.

Obviously our "long term" residents incur costs, including food, shelter, veterinary bills etc. Sponsoring an animal helps us defray these costs. Sponsorship involves either a once off donation or if possible, a small but regular donation sent to us by standing order or credit card. Sponsors receive a certificate of sponsorship, an entry into our "Sponsors hall of fame", and regular updates on their chosen sponsored animal.
