There are countless ways to get involved with ASH Animal Rescue – from fundraising and donating, to hosting your own event or attending one of ours. Whether you’re volunteering your skills or raising money on our behalf, we are deeply grateful for the effort, care, and generosity of everyone who contributes to the success and ongoing mission of our charity.
Our work relies heavily on public donations. That’s why we need your support now more than ever. Your time, dedication, and contributions enable ASH Animal Rescue to provide vital care and a second chance for unwanted and stray animals who need it most.
We are truly humbled by the generosity of our supporters, especially during challenging times. Witnessing such kindness, compassion, and concern for animals gives us the strength to persevere through tough moments. Donate
We are heavily reliant on donations from the public to cover all our work. This is why we so desperately need your help. Your contributions will enable ASH Animal Rescue to provide life saving care for these unwanted and stray animals. Every single cent counts and we really make it go such a long way. We’re always so grateful (and relieved) to receive any donation whether regular or one off.
Fundraise
There are plenty of planned events where you can fundraise for ASH Animal Rescue like the Women’s Mini Marathon, the Wicklow Half Marathon or the Dublin City Marathon. We are also always looking for people to participate in the charity and are thrilled with every fundraising event held on our behalf.
Volunteer
Sadly we are understaffed and financially unable to employ anyone else so any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated. We need volunteers every/any day of the week so that all the dogs get out for walks. You can stay for one hour or as many hours as you like.
Businesses
Businesses can help in a number of ways. Why not make Ash Animal Rescue your company's charity of the year, donate raffle prizes or provide services, supplies or human resources. Bringing your employees for a day of dog walking is a fun way of team building!
Sponsor an animal
Sadly a number of animals taken in by ASH may never be re-homed to a loving family. This may be due to the fact that they may be too old, have settled with us and some have been abused in the past and find it hard to trust humans again. You can sponsor those special animals. Sponsorship costs €50 for one year and for this you will receive a sponsorship pack.
Supplies donations
Food donations are always such a MASSIVE support to us and are always a huge life saver for us. We are always in need of old newspapers or shredded bags of paper for our pups in particular.There are many other things we’d gratefully receive, such as dog or cat food, leads, collars, soft toys, bedding or beds, cat litter, toys for chewing like Kongs, etc.
Wedding favours
If you’re considering a charitable donation in lieu of wedding favours we’d absolutely love to help you help us help our animals and at the same time do everything we can to make your guests feel like they too have made a difference to our animals lives. We have a few suggestions to offer up (we’re always totally open to your own thoughts & variations around these … it’s YOUR big day after all!)
